Alexa’s first second Halloween, first time really knowing what was going on. Grandma got in the spirit as a purple haired witch. It was a beautiful night and Alexa really had a good time.

Melissa and I had a great time in Seattle and Washington’s NW Peninsula. Here’s the slideshow from the photos I just uploaded to our new Flickr account.
My new laptop came with a built-in web cam, and finally, tonight Alexa and I had the opportunity to just mess around and make a goofy video. Without further adieu…
Melissa and I are taking a much needed vacation at the end of the month, it’ll be our first real vacation since our honeymoon.
We’re off to the Pacific Northwest and will be spending a day in Seattle, hanging out at Pike’s Market and then up to the Space Needle, and whatever else we have time for. The next day we’ll drive off to Crescent Lake where we have an A-Frame Cabin waiting for us and a day of driving Hurricane Ridge, take a hike to Marymere Falls, and whatever else we have time for. The next morning, we’ll wake up early and go on a kayaking trip in the Strait of San Juan de Fuca and hopefully spot some orca whales. That evening, we’ll drive to the Pacific Coast just in time for sunset on Rialto Beach. The next day we’ll hike some trails of the Hoh Rainforest and maybe go back to Ruby Beach if there’s time.
I’ve been dreaming of this vacation with Melissa since my first trip to Seattle in 2003. It’s finally here and I couldn’t be happier. Expect a ton of photos and videos in October!
My hope is that after this trip, Melissa will dream of moving to the pacific northwest just like I do. =)
Melissa’s birthday is 9/9 and since we rarely exchange gifts, I decided to make a little video depicting her life since we’ve met. I had so much fun putting it together, and it took me about 4 hours total to do. It’s hard to fit 6+ years down into 5 minutes, but I think I did an alright job…
We were lucky enough to catch our little 2 year old on tape as she witnessed this year’s 4th of July fireworks.
